Miramar is directly situated on the ever-popular "Thompson's Bay". To the South towards Ballito, you will find "Hole in the Wall" which leads to 2 small bays. To the North, you have "Chaka's High Rock", which is a popular fishing spot. Thompson's Beach is in a cove, giving more protection from the wind. There are shark nets, and lifeguards are in attendance. This beautiful beach is ideal for swimming, surfing, scuba diving, fishing, and whale and dolphin watching. There is an abundance of restaurants, pubs, and golf courses in the vicinity, and the ever-popular "Tiffany's Shopping Centre" and "Sage" is less than 5 km towards Salt Rock Gateway, Sibiya Casino and La Lucia Mall are all within a 20 minute travel South from here.
